Hello people, I am waiting for some recipes here!! :-)
I think the success that Alicia and Scott are having on weight watchers is Awesome! I am thinking about doing it even if I can't get exact calorie count because of my location. I think the recipes would be helpful. It would also be helpful if Steve stopped putting heavy cream in everything he makes. That is why I only let him cook occasionally.
Now just to let my goals be known.... I gave Steve 10 kilos for Christmas and said I would be that much lighter by his birthday in June. That is 22lbs. Steve has recently cut caffeine out of his diet and is also making a great effort to set goals and reach them. He is doing such a good job, I wanted to do the same. I am currently 1 kilo lighter than I was at Christmas. (That is 2.2lbs) so I have a long way to go. I love the advice of drinking more water. That is proving to be not as hard as I thought and I think it will help with calories. My goal for this week is to stop the constant snacking on sugary things. I am going to try to drink some water before I eat anything, and I also feel like when I drink hot chocolate or something it fills me up for a while, so while it is cold I am going to do that in the morning.
I also have a weird question that I have always wondered about and since this is a private blog I am going to ask it. :0
When you are losing weight, do you go poop more often? Gross I know, but I just wondered if that was one of the ways your body gets rid of the excess. Steve says I am crazy and he is right most of the time.
k, that is it for me, I will be posting my loses as they come off. I have 9 more to go.

One Month Success
So, some of you know that Scott and I joined Weight Watchers online. We started one month ago on January 3. Monday (yesterday) was our fourth official weigh in. So far, so good. We have really seen some success.
Scott has lost a total of 16 1/2 pounds. I have lost 10 pounds. I don't notice it on me all that much, but Scott is so skinny! Seriously. His pants are falling off of him.
I have to say that it really has not been that hard. We work out maybe a few times a week. I walk with weights on the treadmill and Scott does the elliptical. But, the excersise is not what is taking the weight off, it is Weight Watchers. I LOVE Weight Watchers. It has taught me so much about what to eat and how much to eat and what to really stay away from. Neither of us have felt hungry or really deprived of good food. I actually think we have been eating really good. I'm surprised it's been as easy as it has.
So, can't wait for another weigh in a month from now. Wish us luck!

Just Checking this thing out.
As you may or may not know- I have a personal trainer and I am actually LOVING him. Well not him personally, but having a coach at the gym. I would love to share some of the things he has told me, and save you hundreds of dollars. I'll just do this every once in a while.
First Goal: Drink more water. He makes me drink 100 oz. of water a day. That is a LOT of water. I used to do it when I was nursing, but it is a really hard when you're not. At first you will be spending a LOT of time in the bathroom, but your bladder will eventually get used to it, and it's not that bad.
Start small. 100 oz. can be your final goal. For this week, just add an extra glass of water somewhere in your day. Maybe even measure your water tomorrow and the following day, up it by one glass. When I say measure, I just mean how many glasses you drank- Not the actual ounces.
So, for this week- More Water.
I FORGOT to mention a tip that totally works in water consumption. LEARN TO DRINK WATER AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. I hate cold water now. If I'm getting it out of the tap, I might microwave it for a couple seconds to warm it up. When it's room temp, you can chug it down. When it's cold, it will give you a brain freeze- so, you sip rather than chug= Less water.
